Schedule by email
The Schedule by email data source allows you to push media to Smartsign
using email.
The data source will appear as a folder in the media library and the
content can then be scheduled from there.
note
Inline attachments are not supported. If you attach an image and you can see it in the email body, then it's an inline attachment. It should be removed and attached as a separate file instead.
Prerequisites
- Licensed cloud service users can use this data source without further configuration.
- For on premise use, configuration must be prepared in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Smartsign before. Please see separate instructions.

Clear media on update | Enable to clear the media folder every time a
new email is receive, the folder will contain the contents of latest
email only. Disable to keep the already existing content and add new media. Note that media with the same name as an already existing media will be added too, not replaced. |
